Terms of Service

By accessing or using ReadBeneath (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

ReadBeneath is a conversation analysis platform that uses AI to analyze chat exports and provide insights about communication patterns. The Service includes free analysis, Pro subscription features (deep analysis, deep Q&A, chat recommendations), and related tools.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ReadBeneath, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not have the right to share (e.g., conversations without the consent of all participants where required by law)
• Use the Service for harassment, stalking, or monitoring someone without their knowledge where prohibited by applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures

• Free Tier: Basic analysis is available at no cost with limited features.
• Pro Subscription: $20/month, billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
• Cancellation: Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before the new price takes effect.

The Service, including its AI models, design, code, and branding, is owned by ReadBeneath. You retain ownership of the conversation data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. This license terminates when the data is purged from our systems.

Analysis reports, scores, and recommendations generated by ReadBeneath are produced by AI and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, psychological, or otherwise). AI-generated insights may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not make significant life decisions based solely on ReadBeneath output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadBeneath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReadBeneath, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReadBeneath operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
